WE HAVE A DREAM… THAT EVERY CHILD DESERVES FABULOUS PORTRAITS
Unscripted Portraits was born out for sheer frustration and disappointment year after year from parents moaning about their overpriced naff school portraits.
After Claire had more or less been nagged to death by various mums in the playground, she took the leap with a lush preschool (managed by one of the naggy friends in the playground) to deliver a unique approach to school photography.
Having finessed her “Unscripted” school style, the brand has grown and grown, and Claire now employs the lush Northumbrian (aka posh geordie) Emma to help as we photograph 1000s of children all over the northeast.
We not only enjoy the photography process (because heck, kids are friggin awesome and so much fun), we are so PROUD of the the service we deliver to our settings, the product we deliver to parents and we honestly do well up every time we receive a lush email or review.
Meet Claire
Claire is the owner, lead photographer and the driving force behind this unique approach to school photography.
Interesting facts about Claire
- Is Mum of Harry and Lily and lives just outside Newcastle with Hubster Handy-Andy
- She is an Essex girl, holding onto her accent for dear life, although she does slip in the occasional “pet” from time to time!
- Claire thinks that kids and their characters are bloody fantastic and every photo she delivers needs to encapsulate that feeling forever
- She is also guilty of staying up late and waking up early to enjoy “me time” which may involve ‘The Walking Dead’ or just staring at an empty wall and enjoying the silence!
- PSSST Claire is also the Owner of Unscripted Photography – our lush documentary based photography and video service that captures your SchoolDay and your EveryDay! She’s so modest though about her achievements and would never have put this in her BIO… so I have!
Interesting facts about Emma
- Emma is Mum to “the boy”, a wild-at-heart, 10 year old and lives in rural Northumberland with hubby David and a mad Springer, Turbo
- The ‘Drummer’ of our band who is super passionate about our growing business and prides herself on efficiency
- She is probably one of the nicest people on the planet and always thinks about others before herself and has also been known to dress up as a turkey on more than one occasion to cheer up a friend
- Also has been known to hide out in a cupboard to eat a chocolate bar to herself or simply watch tiktoks of raving chickens
